BAKING COMPETITION TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Are you a senior who loves to bake?
Enter our 2nd annual baking competition, now open for both sweet AND savoury entries!
All seniors are welcome to join in the fun, regardless of whether they’re entering the competition. Entries and high tea will be shared from 11.15am.
Entries must be delivered to the venue between 10am and 10.30am on Monday 10 November 2025. Judging will occur from 10.30am to 11am. The winner will be announced at 11.15am.
Conditions of entry:
- All entries must be homemade (not store bought).
- Each participant may only enter once.
- Entries must be served on a plate or tray.
- Entries that require refrigeration are not acceptable.
- Entries must be delivered to the Red Earth Arts Precinct between 10am and 10.30am.
- A full list of ingredients must be provided with each entry for allergies and dietary awareness.
- All food must be prepared in a clean and safe environment.
- Any entries deemed unsafe, incorrectly labelled, or unsuitable for consumption may be disqualified.
- Common allergens (nuts, dairy, gluten, eggs, etc.) must be declared.
- By entering, participants consent to photos or videos taken at the event being used for promotional purposes.
- Contestants must be present, and the Judging period runs from 10.30am to 11am, with serving time to share with everyone at 11.15am.
Scoring eystem:
Entries will be judged based on taste, presentation, and creativity & originality.
Judge will score on a scale between 1 to 10 (10 is the highest score)
Prizes will be awarded as they’re announced.
After the competition:
From 11.15am entries and a high tea shared with everyone, with a free movie screening of The Penguin Lessons to follow, starting at 1pm.
