A five-year plan outlining key actions to boost accessibility has been endorsed by Council.
The Disability Access and Inclusion Plan 2024-2029 identifies the City's outcomes to improve access and inclusion for people of all abilities within Karratha and its surrounds.
Key outcomes of the plan include; ensuring accessibility in all City buildings and facilities, access and inclusion to be considered during event planning and delivery as well as employment opportunities for people with disability.
The plan also complies with Commonwealth and State legislative requirements to ensure access for all is at the forefront of all planning and partnership actions and developments within the City’s boundaries.
