Council Plan
The Council Plan 2025 - 2035 represents our fresh approach to planning for the City of Karratha’s future. It builds on our past strategic planning work, addresses the challenges we face and sets out what actions we will take in the next 10 years as we work towards achieving the community’s vision.
This plan has been developed through a wider and deeper level of community engagement than we have undertaken in the past. Using the What We Make It engagement platform, feedback has been received through conversations, workshops, focus groups and surveys in addition to standard email submissions. Over 945 contributions were received.
The new 10 year Council Plan presents our community’s vision for the future as ‘Australia’s most liveable regional city. The place we are proud to call home’. Part A of the Plan is the Strategic Community Plan and identifies seven goals and priority focus areas for achieving our vision. Part B is the Corporate Business Plan that identifies the services, key projects, actions and measures that will be delivered by Council over the next four years.
