National Reconciliation Week, held annually from 27 May to 3 June, is a significant time for all Australians to come together, reflect on our shared histories and deepen our understanding of the cultures of the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples. The week encourages us to consider how we can each play a part in building a more inclusive, respectful and unified community.
The City of Karratha is proud to host a range of events that offer the community meaningful opportunities to participate in this vital national conversation and show respect and support for reconciliation efforts. Through free public events, the City invites everyone to come together, build relationships and celebrate unity, inclusivity and cultural awareness.
