The City of Karratha invites the community to take part in a series of events designed to encourage connection, understanding and meaningful engagement with reconciliation.

National Reconciliation Week Breakfast
Date: Wednesday 27 May, from 7.30am
Location: Red Earth Arts Precinct
Kick off National Reconciliation Week with a free breakfast and the live broadcast of the Perth Reconciliation Breakfast. Enjoy presentations as part of the event.

Walk for Reconciliation
Date: Wednesday 3 June, meet at 8am, walk starts at 8.30am
Location: Ngurin Cultural Centre
Take part in a Walk for Reconciliation alongside community members, Elders and Traditional Owners. This event offers an opportunity to listen, learn and walk together in support of reconciliation. Registrations are encouraged to assist with event planning and catering.

Families are invited to attend special Rhyme Time sessions with Reconciliation Week, sharing stories, language and culture with young children in a welcoming environment.
Colouring-In Competition
Date: 27 May - 3 June
Age groups: 0-5, 6-8, 9-13
Engage the kids in a creative competition with prizes for winners in each age group.
Colouring sheets are available at City libraries and the Ieramugadu (Roebourne) Café & Gallery or download and print from the document below. Return completed entries by 3 June to enter with the child's name, age and guardian's best contact number written on the back. Thanks to NYFL Group for sponsoring the colouring-in competition.
