Young people are an important part of the City of Karratha community.
Our Youth Services team operate two youth centres throughout the year; The Youth Shed in Karratha, and The Base in Wickham. The team also plan a program for Youth Week taking place in every April. All Youth Shed and Base activities are free and accessible to young people aged 10-17 and offer the latest tech including gaming and virtual reality, as well as pool and table tennis tables, arts and crafts, beauty, cooking facilities and more.
