The Rates Payment Incentive Scheme has returned to the City of Karratha for 2025, offering ratepayers the chance to win one of three cash prizes.
Residents who pay their rates in full by the due date will be automatically entered into the draw, with a top prize of $2,000.
Ratepayers are reminded that full payment or the first instalment must be made before 11.59pm AWST on Friday, 10 October 2025, to be eligible.
The prizes for the 2025 scheme are as follows:
• 1st Prize: $2,000 Westpac Choice Account, generously sponsored by Westpac
• 2nd Prize: $1,000 cheque, sponsored by the City of Karratha
• 3rd Prize: $500 cheque, sponsored by the City of Karratha
To qualify for the incentive scheme, ratepayers must:
• Pay the full amount indicated on their 2025 rates notice
• Ensure payment is made before the deadline of 11.59pm AWST on 10 October 2025
• Have no outstanding Pilbara Underground Power Project charges
