A hilarious, touching, and awarding winning play is on its way to Karratha to entertain residents.
Held at the Red Earth Arts Precinct on Friday 4 April, The Hypotheticals, presented by The Last Great Hunt, tells the story of two best friends in their mid 30’s – a single straight woman and a partnered gay man – who are deciding whether to have a baby together.
Following sellout seasons in Darwin and Perth, as well as winning the 2020 NT Literary Award for Theatre, this funny yet deeply personal work from writer-performers Jeffrey Jay Fowler and Sarah Reuben is heading to Karratha.
City of Karratha Mayor Daniel Scott said the show would entertain locals with its insightful and entertaining performances.
“It’s exciting to have The Hypotheticals - a witty, well written and deeply personal work from these two great performers – come to our City,” Cr Scott said.
“This award winning play will have you mesmerised from beginning to end and I encourage everyone to grab their tickets as soon as possible before it sells out.”
Doors open at 6.30pm with a complimentary drink and nibbles on arrival, show starts at 7.30pm, and tickets cost $35 for adults, $30 for concession and $17.50 for youth.
