The Quarter will transform into a spooky wonderland for families and friends when the City of Karratha hosts its Halloween Spooktacular.
This free, family-friendly event, held on 1 November, will feature thrilling entertainment, interactive games, and live music, creating an inclusive and exciting evening for all ages.
Highlights include a Monster Mash Dance Party with DJ Zephran, complete with a confetti cannon and spooky green bubbles, as well as a costume contest with prizes for Best Overall, Scariest, and Best Group costumes.
Families can also enjoy a dedicated Fun Zone featuring a bouncy castle, themed ride, and slime pit, or get creative at glow-in-the-dark playdough and lantern-making workshops.
City of Karratha Mayor Daniel Scott said the Halloween Spooktacular was a chance to bring the community together to celebrate in a fun and safe environment.
“Events like this are a great way to activate The Quarter and create opportunities for our community to come together and make lasting memories,” Cr Scott said.
“With everything from costume competitions and creative workshops to live entertainment and delicious local food, there will be something for everyone to enjoy.”
Mayor Scott encouraged everyone to come dressed up and ready to celebrate.
“We look forward to seeing the creativity of our community on display – whether you’re a spooky skeleton, a creepy creature, or just there for the fun, this will be a night to remember.”
The Halloween Spooktacular is part of the City’s commitment to hosting vibrant, family-friendly events that celebrate community spirit and support local businesses.
