Take Your Business Online Grant Scheme now open

The City of Karratha’s Take Your Business Online grant scheme opens on 12 August 2024 for new applications.

The City of Karratha's TYBO Grant provides eligible businesses with up to $5,000 (excluding GST) per business, matched dollar for dollar, to enhance their digital capabilities and online marketing presence.

There will be multiple assessment rounds during the year with the first assessment round closing 2pm Tuesday 3 September.

The aim of the grant is to boost competitiveness, innovation, and operational efficiency for local businesses across their products and services.

Last financial year the City supported 40 businesses through the program providing over $100,000 for projects ranging from content creation, social media campaigns to website upgrades and search engine optimisation.

City of Karratha Mayor Daniel Scott said having strong digital presence was important for local companies.

“This grant is a great opportunity to help local businesses upgrade their digital capacities and marketing efforts,” Cr Scott said.

“Last year we helped 40 businesses and I encourage locals to apply for this grant to start or grow their small business right here in the City of Karratha.”
