A visionary document reflecting the community’s aspirations for the next decade has been adopted by Council.
The Community Plan was adopted by Council at the recent meeting and combines both the aspirations of the community as well as the delivery of services and programs over the next four years.
It also refines Councils vision to become Australia’s most liveable regional city. The place we are proud to call home, while outlining performance indicators, review processes and key actions.
City of Karratha Mayor Daniel Scott said the Council Plan would be a guiding document for Council and Administration.
“This will ensure our strategies and plans are in line with our overarching vision and will align our annual work programs and budgets to the delivery of the plan,” Cr Scott said.
“It will also enable regular monitoring and reporting, meaning the community will be able to see how we are going with progressing their vision.
“The outcomes of our Council Plan have been directly informed by the community, capturing their needs and wishes as we continue to work together to become Australia’s most liveable regional City.”
